How to Make Your Matcha

What You'll Need:

2g (approx. 2 teaspoons) of your Kodama Teahouse Matcha

100ml of hot water (not boiling – around 80°C / 175°F)

200ml of your preferred milk

Optional: honey or syrup for sweetness

Instructions:

Fill a cup with hot water and place your bamboo whisk inside. Let it sit for a minute to soften the bristles—this helps create a smoother, more even whisk.

Measure 2g (or 2 teaspoons) of Kodama Teahouse Matcha into a bowl using a sifter. This removes clumps and ensures a smooth blend.

Pour 100ml of hot (not boiling) water over the sifted matcha.

Using your softened whisk, vigorously whisk the matcha in a zigzag or "M" motion until fully dissolved and frothy. You're aiming for a smooth, velvety texture with a light layer of foam on top.

Pour in your preferred milk (hot or cold), and sweeten with honey or syrup if desired. Stir gently and enjoy your matcha moment.
