How to make the perfect Matcha:

What you'll need:

  • 2gs of your Kodama Teahouse matcha
  • 200ml of your preferred milk choice, 100ml of hot water (hot but not boiling). Syrups or honey as needed.

Steps:

1) Soften your whisk - Fill a cup with hot water and place your whisk inside the cup soften the brittles, allowing for smoother whisking.

2) Prepare your desired Kodama Teahouse Matcha - Sift 2 teaspoons of the matcha powder into a bowl to remove lumps and pour 100 millimetres of hot water over the matcha powder.

3) Whisk the matcha

4) In the bowl, use the soaked whisk thoroughly to mix and dissolve the matcha in a zigzag motion until there are no particles left. You should be looking for a frothy texture.
